Learn to play a UkuleleTownship of Brock (Cannington), Ontario
Music — Hands-On Activity
The ukulele is commonly associated with music from Hawaii where the name roughly translates as "jumping flea", perhaps because of the movement of the player's fingers. Join Melissa and her brother Adam Harrigan for a ukulele workshop. Both are avid music lovers and teachers and play a variety of instruments. Ukuleles will be provided and you will learn to play a song by the end of the workshop. Stay and listen to live guitar and fiddle music between the workshops. Lessons start on the hour throughout the afternoon starting at noon and last workshop at 3 pm. Maximum 6 participants at a time. www.harrigansmusic.com
