Quest for Fire --Beringia CentreWhitehorse, Yukon Territory
Heritage — Hands-On Activity
One might say that human culture is intimately linked to fire. Humans have long depended on it for light, warmth, protection and cooking. As well it provided a venue for storytelling and other artistic expressions. Relatively few people today however, could start a fire using only sticks, friction and a lot elbow grease.
On Sunday September 27 at 2 pm, come dressed for the outdoors and see what it takes.
Admission to the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre will be free the whole day --9-6.
