Kelly StahlSenior Advisor, Economic Development and Tourism, City of Brampton

Kelly Stahl has over 14 years of experience working in Economic Development in the municipal sector. In her current role as Senior Advisor with the City of Brampton's Economic Development and Tourism Office, Kelly manages the implementation of the HACE strategy, a City initiative designed to retain and grow the Heritage, Arts, Culture and Entertainment sectors in the City. With a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership from the Schulich School of Business, Kelly brings a wealth of experience and strong leadership skills to the development of key programs that support the growth of a creative economy, including the encouragement of grassroots participation and community engagement in the Culture Days weekend, and the successful launch of Brampton's first Makerspace. A community organizer at heart, Kelly believes in the power of collaboration and works with diverse stakeholders to help the creative community thrive.

Angie ArsenaultIndependant Vocal Coach , Singer Songwriter and Producer 

In 2009, Angie became one of the first singer-songwriter-performers in Canada to successfully fund the costs of producing and releasing a full-length album through an online crowdfunding platform. 

Angie grew up in a family of musicians from Prince Edward Island, Canada, and now has 20 years of experience in her field of play. She has released 3 solo albums, a short film, written music for other projects including a web-series, and continues to share her enthusiasm towards music and the performing arts, becoming one of Montreal's most sought after vocal coaches. Angie has recently added producer to her list of credits with her 3rd crowdfunding success: “The Roots Project” – an album recorded in collaboration with her family, and nominated for a 2015 Music PEI Award.

Lorraine PattersonStratford Festival, Associate Director of Sponsorship 

Lorraine Patterson has enjoyed an over 25-year career as a senior sponsorship and marketing executive with a focus in the arts and entertainment genres.

Starting her career in sponsorship marketing at Arts & Communications Counselors (a Toronto-based sponsorship marketing firm), she went on to lead advertising and marketing agency account teams at both Echo Advertising and Scott Thornley & Company.  Subsequently she was the Vice President of Wakeham & Associates Marketing, Inc., one of North America’s leading sponsorship agencies before taking the role of Director, Marketing and Sponsorship at Dancap Productions.  In early 2012, Ms. Patterson joined the Stratford Festival as Associate Director of Sponsorship.  

Throughout her career she has managed a diverse range of sponsorship and marketing accounts across myriad arts and entertainment properties and continues to create, build and implement unique and creative sponsorship marketing programs and solutions.

She is a graduate of the University of Toronto, a lecturer on Audience Engagement and Outreach at the Ryerson University’s Theatre School, and is a Volunteer Chair with CODA (Council For Drug Abuse), a not-for-profit organization that delivers drug prevention programs to youth in schools.  

Liesl Barrell Co-founder & CEO, Third Wunder

Liesl is an award-winning agency vet (High-Touch CommunicationsTwist who has worked with clients like Van HoutteJust For LaughsBirksLise WatierMary KayBombardier and more. In 2014 she co-founded a digital marketing agency of her own, Third Wunder, helping sustainable and cultural brands succeed online. Before she embarked on her marketing career, she studied theatre (BA McGill, MA U of T) and her arts background continues to inform and fuel her obsession with media, old and new. In her spare time, she enjoys writing in fabulous corners of the Internetz and is part of the Montreal Girl Geeks team, running free monthly networking events for local women in tech. Aude MatheyArts & Culture Blogger – Account Executive in Charge of Offers, Activations and Partner Relations at Cirque du Soleil

New media and arts enthusiast, Aude Mathey is first of all a #museogeek, a connected museum lover. She has founded Culture and Communication in 2005 as a way to gather Most Unexceptional practices from Arts professionals in communication, marketing and mediation in one place. Culture and Communication has followed the publication of her first book: Le musée virtuel : quel avenir pour la culture numérique ?

Aude has an extensive experience in communication and marketing for Arts and Entertainment companies and institutions. She has indeed worked on communications strategies for Musée Soulages and Fête de la Musique in France, handled key accounts’ media plans in a regional newspaper, created content marketing and communications strategies of MuseomixMTL in MMFA and developed Getty Images’ presence in Quebec (Canada); where she has helped her clients on their content marketing approaches. Aude is also on the Museum Africa committee based in Chicago.
